Privacy and policy

Privacy Policy

All Objects Detector (“we”, “our” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the All Objects Detector Android app (the “App”) handles information. The App is published by Farid Ahmad Ahmadyar on the Google Play Store. We do not collect or store any personally identifiable information from users. This policy describes what data (if any) is accessed or collected, how it is used, and how we comply with Google Play’s privacy guidelines

Data Collection

  • Camera Access: The App requires permission to use the device camera solely for real-time object detection. We do not record, save, or transmit any photos or video frames. All image analysis is done locally on your device during use of the App. In compliance with Google’s policies, we limit the camera’s use to the App’s core functionality and do not use it for any other purpose

  • No Personal Data: We do not ask for or collect personal information such as names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, or precise location. There is no user registration or login. We do not collect identifiers tied to you (like Social Security number or device IMEI).

  • No Analytics or Trackers: The App does not include any analytics frameworks or third-party trackers beyond advertising. We do not use cookies or store usage logs. Because we don’t collect personal data, there’s no personal profile or user data stored by our app.

By restricting data access to only what is necessary, we follow best practices: sensitive permissions (like the camera) are used only for the App’s function, consistent with user expectations.

Third-Party Services

  • Google AdMob (Advertisements): The App is ad-supported and uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may automatically collect certain non-personal device information (for example, IP address and a resettable advertising ID) to deliver relevant ads and for analytics purposes. All such data collected by AdMob is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS.
We do not provide AdMob (or any other ad network) with your personal data – AdMob’s data collection is automated as part of its SDK. In adherence to Google’s policies, we clearly disclose that Google’s ad services may collect data as described in their documentation.

  • Other Third Parties: We do not integrate any other third-party services or SDKs that collect personal information. No data from the App is sold, shared, or exchanged with third parties. The only data flow is the automatic collection by Google’s Mobile Ads SDK as noted above. We do not have access to any personal data collected by Google, and we do not share user data with anyone else.

Our use of AdMob and handling of sensitive data (like camera images) is fully compliant with Google Play policies.
. In particular, apps that use personal or sensitive data for advertising must follow the Ads policy, and we abide by those requirements.

User Rights and Choices

  • App Permissions: You can always control the App’s permissions. If you disable camera permission in your Android settings or uninstall the App, the object detection function will stop. Since the App has no user accounts or stored personal data, uninstalling the App effectively removes all data the App had access to.

  • Ad Personalization: The App does not manage ad personalization settings directly, but you can control ads at the device level. Android provides an Ads Privacy menu where you can opt out of personalized ads and manage your advertising ID
. Even with personalized ads turned off, you will still see ads; they will just be less tailored. For details on managing ad preferences, see the Android “Privacy & security → Ads” settings

  • Data Access/Deletion: Because we do not collect or store your personal data, there is no personal information to provide, correct, or delete. If you believe we have collected any of your personal data in error (for example, inadvertently through a bug), please contact us and we will delete it.

We respect applicable privacy laws: for example, if you are a user in the EU, know that we do not process your personal data. However, under laws like GDPR or CCPA you generally have rights to access or delete personal data we hold. In our case, since we hold no personal data, there is nothing to retrieve or erase. You always have the right to withdraw consent (by uninstalling the app or disabling permissions) and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if needed.

Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal data to us, we will take steps to delete such information immediately. Parents concerned about their children’s use of the App should supervise device usage.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App or legal requirements. Any updates will be posted in the App or on the Google Play Store listing, and the date below will indicate the latest revision. We encourage users to review this policy periodically. Significant changes will be highlighted or notified in the App. This policy is effective as of June 2025, and any substantial changes will be communicated to users.
